Job Description

Overview

EMT International is looking for an Electrical-Mechanical Assembler to join their Finishing team in Oneida, Wisconsin. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems used in EMT's finishing equipment while collaborating closely with engineering and production teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies from drawings and work instructions
  • Perform electrical wiring, cable routing, and panel assembly
  • Install and connect pneumatic and mechanical components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and assembly documentation
  • Inspect completed assemblies for quality and functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly and wiring issues
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with machine testing, setup, and final preparation for shipment
