Overview

Wm. Masters Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join their team in Bloomington, Illinois. The ideal candidate will prepare accurate and competitive bids for electrical construction projects by reviewing plans, performing takeoffs, and collaborating with project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.

Key responsibilities

  • Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to define project scope
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and equipment estimates
  • Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
  • Identify risks, discrepancies, and value engineering opportunities
  • Prepare complete bid packages, including scope and supporting documentation
  • Maintain organized estimate files and documentation
  • Support project handoff by communicating assumptions and key details
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed
