Overview

Kratos Industries LLC is seeking an Electrical Estimator in Arvada, Colorado. The role focuses on developing commercial quotes for electrical equipment, particularly for complex switchboards, and requires significant industry experience and technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop commercial quotes for electrical equipment timely and accurately
  • Quote complex projects related to specialized expertise
  • Interface with customers and manufacturer's representatives
  • Solicit vendor pricing to complete proposals
  • Create guides and reference sheets for quicker quoting
  • Escalate complex requests to subject matter experts
  • Review technical specifications and compile supporting documentation

Required skills

  • 3+ years of electrical/switchboard estimating experience
  • Advanced math and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Advanced written technical communication skills
  • Understanding of basic electrical and manufacturing concepts

What the company offers

  • $70,000 - $90,000 annual salary
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM work hours
