Key responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects
  • Analyze project specifications and electrical prints
  • Ensure competitive pricing and adherence to electrical codes
  • Manage multiple job bids concurrently
  • Negotiate with potential customers and communicate effectively with the team
  • Adapt to software tools used for estimating

Required skills

  • 2+ years of electrical estimating experience
  • Knowledge of the electrical code and ability to keep up with new code cycles
  • Experience with ConEst software
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Project management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
