Overview

Kratos Industries LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator in Arvada, Colorado, to develop commercial quotes for electrical equipment, specifically focusing on complex switchboard projects. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in estimating and a strong understanding of electrical and manufacturing concepts.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop commercial quotes for electrical equipment accurately and timely.
  • Quote highly complex and visible projects using manual analysis and non-standardized tools.
  • Interface directly with customers and manufacturer's representatives.
  • Solicit vendor pricing to complete proposals.
  • Create guides and reference sheets to streamline the quoting process.
  • Escalate complex requests to subject matter experts.
  • Review technical specifications and compile documentation for complex projects.

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years of electrical/switchboard estimating experience
  • Advanced math and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced technical communication skills
  • Understanding of basic electrical and manufacturing concepts

What the company offers

  • Salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually
  • Work hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
