Overview

Vitis Energy, LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the planning, design, and implementation of electrical systems for renewable energy projects, specifically in solar and battery energy storage systems. The role requires a strong background in construction and energy infrastructure, along with technical oversight throughout all project phases.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight for all phases of energy projects
  • Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with engineering design and execution
  • Support technical due diligence on mid- to late-stage acquisitions
  • Coordinate interconnection applications and liaise with utilities
  • Review AutoCAD renderings and construction drawings for accuracy
  • Resolve technical issues in the field with contractors and vendors
  • Monitor project timelines and flag deviations from plans
  • Provide progress reporting to stakeholders and support inspections

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • 5 years of experience in the renewable energy industry
  • Expertise in solar and battery storage systems
  • Strong experience with interconnection applications and electrical design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and construction project management software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and its applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
