Job Description

Overview

Cyntergy is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Designer to work on lighting, power, and electrical distribution systems for retail client projects. The role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure excellence in design and compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the Electrical discipline for assigned projects.
  • Design and produce construction documents using Revit for lighting, power, and electrical distribution.
  • Develop designs in compliance with building codes and industry standards.
  • Perform electrical engineering calculations including voltage drop and load analysis.
  • Select and specify electrical equipment.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Represent the Electrical discipline in project meetings.
  • Conduct site observations and evaluate existing conditions.
  • Participate in multi-discipline quality control reviews.
  • Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and scope of work.

Required skills

  • Electrical engineering design for buildings and facilities
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Knowledge of building, energy, electrical, and life-safety codes
  • Experience with SKM Power Tools or similar software
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, and client-focused
