Overview

Cyntergy is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Designer to join their team in Tulsa, OK. This role involves designing lighting, power, and electrical distribution systems for various projects, requiring collaboration with architects, engineers, and clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the Electrical discipline for assigned projects.
  • Design and produce construction documents for lighting, power, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and building codes.
  • Perform power system studies using SKM Power Tools.
  • Conduct electrical engineering calculations including photometric and load analysis.
  • Select and specify electrical equipment.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders.
  • Represent the Electrical discipline in project meetings.
  • Perform site observations and evaluate existing conditions.
  • Participate in multi-discipline quality control reviews.
  • Mentor and train junior staff.
  • Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and scope.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, or Associate's degree with experience
  • Proficiency in electrical distribution and lighting design
  • Competency in Revit
  • Knowledge of building, energy, electrical, and life-safety codes
  • Experience with SKM Power Tools or similar software
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Detail-oriented and collaborative approach
