Overview

Cyntergy is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Designer to join their team in Tulsa, OK. The role involves designing solutions for lighting, power, and electrical distribution systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and building codes while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the electrical discipline for assigned projects
  • Design and produce construction documents for lighting, power, and electrical distribution
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards, including NEC and life safety codes
  • Perform electrical engineering calculations such as load analysis and photometric studies
  • Select and specify electrical equipment for projects
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and other disciplines
  • Conduct site observations and evaluate existing conditions
  • Participate in multi-discipline quality control reviews
  • Mentor and train junior staff
  • Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and scopes

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, or Associate's degree with relevant experience
  • Proficiency in electrical distribution system, power, and lighting design
  • Competency in Revit
  • Knowledge of energy, electrical, and life-safety codes
  • Experience with SKM Power Tools or similar software
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and collaborative
