Job Description

Overview

Resilience is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support the Facilities & Engineering team in West Chester, Ohio. This role involves assisting with small electrical projects and progressively taking on larger initiatives, contributing to equipment upgrades, and managing documentation updates within a technology-focused biomanufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute and support small electrical engineering projects
  • Provide electrical expertise to cross-functional project teams
  • Support equipment obsolescence assessments and upgrade strategies
  • Update and maintain Preventive Maintenance documents
  • Assist in revising and creating technical specifications
  • Update and author Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs)
  • Connect to and configure devices in electrical distribution systems
  • Develop understanding of Modbus communication principles
  • Gain exposure to automation concepts and systems integration
  • Apply understanding of control systems and control circuits

Required skills

  • Understanding of electrical controls and control circuits
  • Technologically savvy and willing to learn new systems and tools
  • Ability to learn electrical communication protocols (e.g., Modbus)
  • Interest in automation knowledge
  • Ability to use the National Electrical Code (NEC) as a reference
  • Strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude and desire to grow technically and professionally
  • Curiosity, problem-solving ability, and ownership of work
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred
  • Internship or co-op experience in engineering or technical environment preferred
