Overview

Paragon Energy Solutions is looking for an Electrical Engineer I to join their team in Fort Worth, Texas. This position involves applying engineering principles in the design, development, implementation, testing, and evaluation of equipment for nuclear safety-related projects, while collaborating with senior engineers on complex tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure equipment technical specifications are met for multiple projects
  • Analyze component functional and design requirements for test plans
  • Perform design reviews to meet client requirements and industry standards
  • Create and refine design and test documentation, including test plans and reports
  • Conduct root cause analysis and testing activities as necessary
  • Interact with the production floor to resolve design and testing issues
  • Collaborate with other engineers to enhance skills and knowledge

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovative solutions
  • Experience with design analysis and CAD design, specifically Solidworks
  • Knowledge of power systems and control systems
  • Experience in equipment testing and project management
