Overview

Amarx Search, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in Digital Design for a full-time position in Rochester, NY. The role involves architecting and integrating electronic components for high-performance digital hardware systems, with a focus on analog and digital circuit design.

Key responsibilities

  • Architect, design, develop, modify, evaluate, and integrate electronic equipment and components for digital hardware systems
  • Analyze electrical requirements to assess design feasibility within time and cost constraints
  • Conduct experimental tests and evaluate results using test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers
  • Provide solutions to maintain continuous production and revenue generation
  • Support component selection, change orders, and factory implementation

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 6+ years of experience in digital design (4 years with a Master's, 10 years without a degree)
  • Experience with analog and digital circuit design, tuning, analysis, and optimization
  • Ability to utilize signal processing algorithms in FPGAs and software
  • Experience with circuit verification testing and power optimization
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes and signal generators
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
