Job Description

Overview

Keenbee Talent Solutions is looking for an Electrical Engineer based in Colorado Springs to support the design, development, integration, and operation of advanced aerospace and technology systems throughout their full lifecycle. The ideal candidate will engage in multiple phases of the product lifecycle including design, prototyping, assembly, and testing, with a focus on electrical systems and components.

Key responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems and components for advanced technology platforms
  • Develop electronic circuits, power systems, and communications systems
  • Conduct systems engineering activities across various technical disciplines
  • Support hardware development from concept through production
  • Develop test plans and procedures for system-level testing
  • Support assembly and integration of electrical systems and hardware
  • Provide technical support during deployment and operational testing
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and interface control documents
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in project planning

Required skills

  • Proficiency with electrical design and analysis tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, PSPICE, MATLAB, and Simulink
  • Strong knowledge of analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics
  • Experience with PCB design and layout
  • Understanding of power systems, communications systems, and embedded electronics
  • Knowledge of electrical testing methodologies
  • Experience using electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
  • Ability to create and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practices
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
