Description: Electrical Designer - Lead Location: Kennewick, WA Spokane, WA Coeur d'Alene, ID or other J-U-B office locationsAt J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc., our purpose is simple but powerful: Helping Each Other Create Better Communities. We are looking for a collaborative and solutions-oriented Electrical Designer - Lead to provide municipal, industrial and commercial system designs. Project types include water and wastewater pumping and treatment, SCADA and telemetry systems, street, pedestrian and roadway lighting, airport facilities and airfield lighting, industrial raw water intake pumping and process controls, commercial public safety, maintenance and office facilities, and parks and recreation facilities. What You'll DoKey ResponsibilitiesPerform project scoping, scheduling, and cost estimatingPerform short circuit, load flow, and relay coordination studiesDevelop one-lines, plan drawings, cable schedules, interconnection drawings and schematicsInteracts with contractors, clients, and facility operatorsDevelop equipment specifications and construction specificationsProvide field evaluation, electrical investigations, and on-site construction supportProvide mentoring and guidance to junior staffWork and collaborate with the firm's other engineering disciplinesSupport business development efforts Requirements: Licensed Engineer in Training with 4 or more years of experience after licensureExperience in design, construction management, startup, and commissioning servicesAbility to obtain technical information from various sources to implement designs and offer solutionsAbility to develop and communicate technical information to clientsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary: $80,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience Professional development and career growth opportunities Coaching and Mentorship programsPerformance bonuses for qualified employees Generous vacation and sick leave programs (increases with tenure)Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 401(k) with company match and profit sharing Education ReimbursementPaid HolidaysHealth club subsidyA collaborative, team-centered work environment Employee ownership opportunities after qualified years of serviceThe application window will be open through August 20, 2026.
