Job Description

Overview

All About Personnel is seeking a motivated Electrical Assembly & Field Service Technician to join their growing automation and industrial equipment team in Rock Hill, SC. This role involves wiring control panels, assembling electrical systems, and providing field service support to customers worldwide, with approximately 25% travel required.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to engineering drawings and schematics
  • Install and integrate electrical components, sensors, drives, motors, and automation systems
  • Support machine commissioning and startup activities
  • Perform machine upgrades, modifications, and system integrations
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, control, and automation issues
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and corrective repairs
  • Travel to support machine installations, startup activities, maintenance, and repairs
  • Communicate project status, technical issues, and solutions with internal teams and customers

Required skills

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Industrial Automation
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Experience using electrical testing equipment and hand tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
