Job Description

Overview

The Electrical Assembler at Badger Daylighting will work closely with team members to assemble 12 VDC control systems. This role involves constructing electrical control panels, wiring control systems, and interfacing with heavy truck systems, all while ensuring accuracy and quality in tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Work from schematics and job instructions
  • Construct electrical control panels
  • Pre-assemble and finish wiring of control systems
  • Install electrical control circuits for motors and devices
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks
  • Test completed equipment for proper performance
  • Adapt to changing tasks due to continuous improvements
  • Perform maintenance work on equipment
  • Handle other assigned tasks as required

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience with automotive electrical systems preferred
  • Knowledge of basic 12 VDC electrical systems
  • Familiarity with tools and crimping techniques
  • LEAN manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to assemble electrical components from drawings
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a busy environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills for working sensitively and professionally
