Job Description

Overview

Primient is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance professional to support their operations in Loudon, Tennessee. This role will focus on electrical power systems and instrumentation, ensuring maintenance and reliability of equipment in a manufacturing environment, backed by a century of operational excellence in producing plant-based ingredients.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform electrical power systems distribution operations and main substation switching
  • Troubleshoot and maintain motor systems and starters, including various voltages
  • Install, repair, and troubleshoot control wiring and PLC systems
  • Conduct circuit and high-voltage testing for reliability and safety
  • Maintain and calibrate instrumentation devices and control systems
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance tasks
  • Mentor and train junior technicians in electrical and instrumentation practices

Required skills

  • Expertise in electrical power distribution and instrumentation
  • Proficiency in Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and ABB control systems
  • Experience with high, medium, and low voltage systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical failures
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics
  • Familiarity with SAP and PI Vision for maintenance management
  • Understanding of safety protocols in electrical work
