Job Description

Overview

As the EHS Manager at Clarios' Florence, Kentucky plant, you will oversee Environmental, Health and Safety operations, ensuring compliance with global and regional EHS standards. You will partner with plant management and operations teams to foster a strong EHS culture through risk assessment, incident investigation, and continuous training.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute site-specific operational and EHS strategies
  • Engage employees to identify risks and implement corrective actions
  • Lead EHS programs including PPE management and hazard solutions
  • Manage incident investigations and workers' compensation claims
  • Track and analyze EHS performance metrics
  • Advocate for EHS capital needs and escalate critical issues

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Industrial Safety, Occupational Safety, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS leadership in manufacturing
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45000 standards
  • Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees and management
