On-the-job/cross-training opportunities Encouraging and collaborative team environment Dedication to safety through our Zero Harm policy What You'll Do As an EHS Engineer, you will lead the development and maintenance of our safety programs, ensuring full compliance with OSHA and local regulations while fostering a strong behavioral safety culture. You will serve as the site Safety Officer and EHS Committee lead, conducting regular audits and risk assessments to proactively mitigate workplace hazards. Additionally, you will partner cross-functionally to support facility expansions and equipment installations through EHS design reviews, lead incident investigations, manage hazardous materials, and deliver comprehensive training programs to maintain a safe, compliant, and collaborative manufacturing environment. This position generally requires a commitment of 4 days onsite per week. Who You Are You are a dedicated safety professional who takes pride in creating environments where people can do their best work with minimized risk. You are hands-on and proactive. You want to understand the intricate details of how our manufacturing systems and equipment operate, because you know that true safety comes from deep, practical knowledge of the risks we face. You are comfortable navigating complex safety and regulatory requirements, but you never lose sight of the fact that your ultimate goal is building a culture where everyone looks out for one another. Responsibilities Responsibilities are subject to change based on shifting business needs Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with OSHA and local regulatory requirements. Serve as the Safety Officer and lead the EHS Committee, driving cross functional involvement and a strong behavioral safety culture Support facility improvements/expansions and equipment installations by conducting EHS design reviews and safety assessments in conjunction with the engineering teams. Conduct regular site safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
