Overview

Messerli Kramer, a prominent law firm in the Twin Cities, is seeking an EDI Supervisor to join their Plymouth, MN team. This full-time role involves leading a group of EDI and technical specialists, ensuring effective data exchanges and workflow maintenance to support the firm's operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise EDI staff and monitor daily tasks to ensure scheduled file transfers occur
  • Troubleshoot file transfer failures in collaboration with EDI staff and Data Operations Development team
  • Monitor EDI rejections and utilize dashboards to identify and resolve issues
  • Ensure controls are functional for manual processes and automated jobs for file transfers
  • Manage change protocols for client mapping requirements
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts on system exchange mapping and programming changes
  • Oversee testing requirements from change management for data transfers
  • Ensure timely completion of workflow tickets by the Workflow Specialist
  • Maintain quality control procedures and complete strategic automation projects
  • Participate in planning and monitoring project Sprints for the team

Required skills

  • 3+ years of EDI/Data Integration experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Detail-oriented with focus on consistency in processes
  • Multi-system mapping practices and change control documentation experience
  • Control structures for data accuracy and quality in imports/exports
  • Understanding of Action/Result code workflow in systems
  • Excellent multitasking abilities across assignments
  • Strong communication and diagnostic problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, PowerShell, and potential for automating manual actions
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus
