Overview

Messerli Kramer, a reputable law firm located in the Twin Cities, is seeking an EDI Supervisor to manage a team of EDI and technical specialists in a full-time, in-person role. This position involves supervising daily data exchanges and workflow maintenance to support the firm's data operations while ensuring all scheduled EDI transfers occur smoothly.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise EDI staff and monitor daily tasks to ensure scheduled file transfers.
  • Troubleshoot file transfer failures in collaboration with the Data Operations Development team.
  • Monitor EDI rejections and enhance dashboards to identify trends.
  • Ensure controls are functional for all manual processes and automated jobs.
  • Complete change management protocols for client mapping requirements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to implement changes in system exchanges.
  • Ensure workflow tickets are resolved efficiently, especially critical issues.
  • Participate in planning and monitoring project Sprints for the team.
  • Maintain documentation and work instructions for all processes.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of EDI/Data Integration experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Experience with EDI in financial or collections environments
  • Detail-oriented with focus on consistency and routine
  • Experience in multi-system mapping practices
  • Utilization of control structures for data accuracy
  • Functional understanding of Action/Result code workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments with urgency
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of SQL/Python/PowerShell capabilities
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus
