Overview

Rachel Contracting is looking for an Earthwork Superintendent to oversee various civil construction projects, primarily in the Midwest. The role involves site grading, heavy equipment operation, and team leadership while ensuring safety compliance and efficiency in project execution.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform site grading for various construction projects including road and drainage improvements.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as blade, dozer, excavator, and water truck.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to plan and execute work procedures.
  • Monitor work progress to ensure compliance with project specifications and schedules.
  • Supervise and manage field crews of approximately 5 to 25 personnel.
  • Support the Project Manager with material procurement and project documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and regulations on site.
