Overview

The DV Family & Volunteer Services Manager at YWCA Clark County is responsible for leading and coordinating trauma-informed family services within the SafeChoice Domestic Violence Program. This full-time role focuses on promoting safety, stability, and empowerment for survivors and their families, while also managing volunteers and community outreach efforts to enhance service delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for survivor-centered family services.
  • Supervise family services advocates and coordinate domestic violence support groups.
  • Conduct outreach with schools and community partners to strengthen access to services.
  • Manage the onboarding, training, and development of SafeChoice volunteers.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and confidentiality laws.
  • Facilitate domestic violence support groups as needed.
  • Maintain accurate data entry for family services statistics.
  • Conduct volunteer recruitment, screening, and appreciation efforts.

Required skills

  • Two years of experience providing advocacy within a domestic violence program.
  • Minimum fifty hours of training on domestic violence issues and advocacy.
  • Six months experience providing coaching or supervision to staff or volunteers.
  • Understanding of intersecting oppressions and dynamics of domestic violence.
  • Proficient in MS Office products.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and be active with young children.

  • Pay range of $29.65/hr plus $1 bilingual differential.
