Job Description

Overview

The DV Family & Volunteer Services Manager at YWCA Clark County is responsible for leading and coordinating survivor-centered family services within the SafeChoice Domestic Violence Program. This role emphasizes trauma-informed and culturally responsive support for survivors and their families while managing a team of advocates and volunteers to enhance service delivery and community connections.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight of family services and volunteer programs.
  • Coordinate supportive services, including domestic violence support groups and resource navigation.
  • Supervise family services advocates and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Conduct outreach with schools and community partners to strengthen access to services.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and maintain confidentiality.
  • Conduct volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and training.
  • Develop and implement trauma-informed classes and activities for families and youth.
  • Evaluate program impact and maintain data tracking for services provided.

Required skills

  • Experience providing advocacy in a domestic violence context.
  • Knowledge of intersecting oppressions and domestic violence dynamics.
  • Proficient in MS Office products.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise and coach staff and volunteers.
  • Experience in developing youth curriculum and services.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to commute in Clark County.
