Overview

The Dump Truck Driver role at Village Green Landscapes involves driving dump trucks to haul landscape and snow removal materials. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a class B commercial driver's license and relevant driving experience, joining a dedicated team in a full-scale landscape company based in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Key responsibilities

  • Haul landscape and snow removal materials such as dirt, class 5, mulch, salt, and snow
  • Operate salt trucks for commercial snow management
  • Operate dump trucks for outside contracted projects
  • Maintain all equipment within company safety and preventive maintenance standards
  • Work collaboratively with the team and company leadership
  • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Class B commercial driver's license with air brake endorsement
  • Clean driving record
  • Valid DOT card or ability to obtain one
  • 1 year of dump truck driving experience
  • Paving experience (preferred)
