Job Description

Overview

Job Description Job Description The main role of the Due Diligence Analyst/Inspector position is to work on property inspections and (Property Condition Needs Assessment (PCNA) reports. This involves travel, on-site inspection of the sites, building exteriors, common area/buildings, amenities and interior spaces and units. JPS paperwork is expected to be adequately and professionally filled out, which may require transcribing on site notes into paperwork, so data entry is easier for the report writer. Inspectors will also have to document and review comments, provide data entry and technical writing, while assisting with inspection report input. Data entry will be mostly related to Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, along with some spread sheet and databases provided by clients for specific report use. JPS will also train the inspector on use of the HUD CNA eTool online database. The other aspect of this position is project coordination and client relations while performing inspections and representing JPS in the field. This will be something you work into as you gain knowledge and comfort with the position. Additional areas of focus may be requested based on your ability to perform other functions within the office similar in nature to inspector responsibilities. In addition, there will be aspects of cross training for the Architectural & Cost review side of the office as well, as often our projects tie together. Company Description JPS is an architectural firm that specializes in Due Diligence and Risk Analysis work for multifamily housing and healthcare review/inspection projects where HUD insured funding and/or Tax Credits apply.
