Overview

As a Driver/Receiver at Tewksbury Hospital, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of patient food, receiving deliveries, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and storeroom areas. Your role is crucial in ensuring that patient meals are delivered according to schedule while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate a company vehicle to transport patient food between buildings.
  • Ensure timely delivery of meals while following traffic regulations and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and dietary staff to coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Receive and organize incoming deliveries of food and supplies.
  • Maintain inventory management tasks, including stock counts and record keeping.
  • Perform general cleaning duties in kitchen and storeroom areas.
  • Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed.
  • Support overall kitchen operations to ensure efficient workflow.

Required skills
