Overview

The Driver Supervisor at Greyhound Lines, Inc. is responsible for overseeing a group of drivers, managing their performance, and ensuring compliance with operational procedures and safety standards. This leadership role includes responsibilities related to employee training, labor relations, and effective dispatch operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Daily interaction with the driver workforce.
  • Interviews, selects, trains, and manages the driver workforce.
  • Ensures proper training and retraining of personnel.
  • Manages driver dispatch and manpower needs.
  • Monitors on-time performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Provides ongoing feedback and evaluates employee performance.
  • Investigates feedback regarding drivers and operational practices.
  • Works closely with HR to address personnel matters.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1+ year in operations experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience in Safety and Workers Compensation, Labor relations, and CBA.
