Overview

Cavalier Logistics is seeking a full-time Non-CDL Driver/Warehouse Agent to join their team in Carson, California. The role involves performing pickups and deliveries of cargo, along with various warehouse duties such as receiving, inventory management, and preparing products for shipment according to customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive a straight truck for pickups and delivery of cargo
  • Handle shipping/receiving inventory and packing orders in the warehouse
  • Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas
  • Identify, separate, label, and palletize materials
  • Install protective packaging to prevent damage during transport
  • Assist drivers in loading or off-loading trucks
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage
  • Report damages and compliance issues to the supervisor
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Operate forklift, pallet stacker, and pallet jack as required

Required skills

  • One-year warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to operate forklift, pallet stacker, and pallet jack
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills including email and data entry
  • Ability to read invoices and labels
  • Ability to routinely lift 70 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to make repetitive movements
  • Must pass drug test and background check
  • Must live within a 35-mile radius of job location
