Overview

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a Distribution Driver Class A in San Angelo, Texas, responsible for delivering products to various clients. The role requires adherence to safety regulations and vehicle maintenance, while also providing opportunities for personal growth within a well-respected company known for its positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver statewide products to bars, restaurants, and hotels.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.
  • Receive payment for goods delivered and sort merchandise by the invoice.
  • Adhere to the safe and courteous operation of the delivery vehicle.
  • Complete all required paperwork daily, including Department of Transportation logbook.
  • Report to work in adherence to company uniform standards.
  • Plan trip logistics and ensure cargo is secured properly.
  • Maintain vehicle, product, and equipment in good working order.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • 1 year of experience
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) certification
  • Commercial Driver's License
  • Ability to lift up to 48 pounds
  • Experience operating machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks
