Overview

RJ Schinner Co is seeking a Class A CDL Driver in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role involves driving to deliver essential products while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect truck before and after trips and complete daily vehicle inspection reports
  • Verify deliveries with customers to ensure accuracy
  • Handle touch-freight deliveries using a manual pallet jack
  • Collect payments for delivered goods as per instructions
  • Maintain accurate driver logs in compliance with regulations
  • Safely operate the vehicle while following DOT guidelines
  • Keep vehicle clean and well-maintained
  • Uphold company policies and contribute to a professional team culture

Required skills

  • Valid Class A CDL Operator's License
  • At least 3 years of driving experience
  • Ability to meet DOT requirements, including drug testing
  • Clean driving record and able to pass a background check
  • Current valid Federal Medical Card
  • Understanding of road hazards and safety practices
  • Previous delivery experience
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
