Key responsibilities
Inspect the truck before and after trips and complete daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIR's)
Verify deliveries with customers to ensure correct quantities and products
Handle touch-freight deliveries using a manual pallet jack
Collect payments for goods delivered as per the provided instructions
Maintain accurate driver logs in compliance with regulations
Safely operate the vehicle following DOT guidelines and company safety manuals
Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained
Uphold company policies and contribute to a positive team culture
Required skills
Valid Class A CDL Operator's License
At least 3 years of driving experience
Ability to meet DOT requirements, including drug testing
Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
Current valid Federal Medical Card
Understanding of road hazards and safety practices
Previous delivery experience
Problem-solving skills
Customer service orientation
