Key responsibilities

  • Inspect the truck before and after trips and complete daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIR's)
  • Verify deliveries with customers to ensure correct quantities and products
  • Handle touch-freight deliveries using a manual pallet jack
  • Collect payments for goods delivered as per the provided instructions
  • Maintain accurate driver logs in compliance with regulations
  • Safely operate the vehicle following DOT guidelines and company safety manuals
  • Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained
  • Uphold company policies and contribute to a positive team culture

Required skills

  • Valid Class A CDL Operator's License
  • At least 3 years of driving experience
  • Ability to meet DOT requirements, including drug testing
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
  • Current valid Federal Medical Card
  • Understanding of road hazards and safety practices
  • Previous delivery experience
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Customer service orientation
