The role requires a driver to ensure safe transportation and timely deliveries while adhering to regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect truck before and after trips and complete daily vehicle inspection reports
  • Verify deliveries with customers, ensuring quantities and products match ship tickets
  • Handle touch-freight deliveries using a manual pallet jack
  • Collect payments for goods delivered following provided instructions
  • Maintain accurate driver logs in compliance with regulations
  • Safely operate the vehicle following DOT guidelines and company policies
  • Keep the vehicle clean and well-kept
  • Uphold company policies and contribute to a positive team culture

Required skills

  • Valid Class A CDL Operator's License
  • At least 3 years of driving experience
  • Ability to meet DOT requirements including drug testing
  • Clean driving record and background check
  • Current valid Federal Medical Card
  • Understanding of road hazards and safety practices
  • Previous experience in making deliveries
  • Excellent customer service skills
