Mclane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Ashland, KY to join their team of dedicated professionals. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt and product temperatures.
  • Unload trailer and deliver products into customer premises.
  • Ensure accuracy of bill of lading and store keys during off-hour deliveries.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English effectively
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and delivery logistics
  • Vehicle inspection skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Team driving and route planning.
