Overview

Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services is seeking a full-time Driver and Customer Service Representative in Nashville, Tennessee, offering a starting wage of $20 per hour. This role involves transporting deceased pets for cremation and returning the cremated remains, all while providing compassionate customer service to pet families during a difficult time.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive company vehicles safely and courteously
  • Transport pets to and from family's homes or veterinary clinics
  • Maintain a professional appearance with provided uniforms
  • Complete all required paperwork and electronic forms accurately
  • Operate cremation equipment (training provided)
  • Obtain paw prints and other memorial items as requested
  • Customize and package cremains for delivery using various tools
  • Keep workspaces and vehicles clean
  • Provide high-level customer service in person and over the phone
  • Handle and transport pets with respect and dignity

Required skills

  • Compassionate communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
  • Background check clearance
  • Adherence to strong code of ethics
  • Passing a 4-panel drug screen
  • Ability to lift 75lbs unaided
  • Proficient with cell phone use for calls, texts, and GPS

  • Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings and weekends
