McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver in Union City, Indiana. The role focuses on safely delivering products to customer locations while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Safely hook assigned tractor to a loaded trailer and deliver products.
  • Assist with loading and sorting of pre-palletized products.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destinations, adhering to commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log documenting delivery receipts and product temperatures.
  • Unload trailer and deliver products into customer premises.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently for job-related tasks
  • Knowledge of logistics management and route navigation
  • Adaptability and reliability as a team member
