Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a DOPS/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) for a casual position in Mansfield, Ohio. The role requires at least one year of recent RN experience in a hospital setting, with a preference for Critical Care or PACU experience. The RN will provide nursing care throughout diverse healthcare settings and be accountable for nursing practices as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments
  • Document planned nursing interventions based on nursing diagnoses
  • Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions and outcomes
  • Participate in process improvement activities to enhance clinical quality
  • Delegate nursing tasks to LPNs and UAPs as per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Current RN license from the State of Ohio
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Recent RN experience in a hospital setting
  • Critical Care or PACU experience preferred
