Overview

Ochsner Health System is seeking a DME Certified Respiratory Therapist in Meridian, Mississippi. This role involves coordinating respiratory care, setting up positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy, educating patients on equipment use, and monitoring compliance, all while ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up respiratory and PAP therapy equipment
  • Monitor patient compliance data
  • Educate patients on proper and safe use of equipment
  • Communicate with physicians regarding patient care
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives

Required skills

  • Current valid state license as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association
