Overview

Energy Panel Structures Inc. is seeking a District Sales Manager to join their team in Perryville, Missouri. This role focuses on selling building components and custom designed wood frame structures to various contractors and builders, while also developing new business opportunities within a specific geographic territory.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct direct, face-to-face sales targeting General Contractors, Framers, Homebuilders, and other key clients.
  • Prepare and present bids, proposals, and estimates.
  • Conduct sales calls to persuade and close sales with existing and prospective customers.
  • Analyze and determine sales area opportunities and develop a marketing focus.
  • Develop new clients through prospecting and cold calling while nurturing existing accounts.
  • Maintain a regular schedule of client visits and document lead generation activities on the CRM system.
  • Stay informed of developments in the territory and maintain awareness of competition.

Required skills

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in sales or customer service.
  • 2 years in construction contracting business and 5 years in direct sales.
  • In-depth knowledge of the building construction industry and market.
  • Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation, influence, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and understand building drawings and site regulations.
