Overview

The Distribution Center Team Member at Tractor Supply Company in Nampa, Idaho, is responsible for receiving inventory, selecting merchandise for shipping, and loading trailers for shipment. This entry-level role requires adherence to safety and accuracy standards while performing various warehouse duties during assigned shifts.

Key responsibilities

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments

  • Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
  • Move merchandise using forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Verify accuracy of merchandise orders and stack/load merchandise for shipping
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in work area
  • Operate material handling equipment safely

Required skills

  • 0-2 years of experience in a distribution center
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds continuously
  • Basic English reading and comprehension skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Experience with RF terminals and bar code scanners
