Overview

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead enterprise-wide supply chain strategies that align with business objectives and long-term growth plans. The role involves overseeing key areas such as procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier development while ensuring compliance with regulations and achieving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and lead supply chain strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and long-term initiatives across all supply chain functions.
  • Establish and enforce procurement policies and standards.
  • Oversee supplier performance and relationship management.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials and manage inventory effectively.
  • Direct logistics and distribution operations to optimize cost and service.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Track and manage key performance indicators across supply chain operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing supply chain organization.

Required skills

  • Expertise in supply chain management and procurement
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Knowledge of aerospace and defense industry regulations and standards
  • Experience in leading supply chain transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement processes
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Experience in managing complex, multi-site supply chain organizations
  • Strong financial acumen and P&L management skills
  • Experience in using AI and automation for data analytics and supply chain optimization
