Overview

The Director of Retail National Sales at Overhead Door Corporation will manage all aspects of relationships with Lowe's and Orgill, focusing on driving growth and market share for Genie garage door openers. The role involves developing strategic partnerships, executing business plans, and ensuring product promotion within retail environments while coordinating cross-functional initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead all sales activities with Lowe's to create profitable opportunities for Genie
  • Manage key initiatives with Lowe's including sales, marketing, and distribution
  • Oversee MET service programs to enhance Genie products' exposure in stores
  • Develop and implement annual sales/business plans for Lowe's
  • Collaborate with product marketing to launch new products for Genie
  • Provide competitive intelligence as the field expert on customer relationships
  • Present monthly unit and dollar forecasts for Genie products
  • Participate in the SIOP process and work cross-functionally with stakeholders

Required skills

  • 7+ years of sales and sales management/marketing experience in consumer durable goods
  • Knowledge of manufacturing environments and multi-channel sales
  • Skills in sales, brand marketing, market research, and field communications
  • Proficient in MS Office products
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Action and results oriented
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business preferred
