Overview

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Director of Program Management to lead the strategic vision for the Integrated Systems & Encryption, Surface & Subsea Systems (S3) business area within their Maritime Sector. This role carries full profit-and-loss accountability and requires the ability to manage complex maritime programs while fostering strong customer and internal relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the S3 business area
  • Manage and expand the Autonomous Capabilities portfolio
  • Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team of Program Managers and Engineers
  • Ensure adherence to company processes and policies
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and industry partners
  • Drive operational excellence and high customer satisfaction
  • Lead Business Development activities and strategic capture efforts
  • Oversee pipeline development and proposal management
  • Conduct reviews and coordinate approvals of major bids and proposals
  • Foster a high-performance environment and ensure team accountability

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
  • 15 years of experience in Aerospace & Defense market, with at least 7 years in senior management
  • Experience with Navy or equivalent acquisition processes
  • Cross-functional leadership experience in business development, program management, engineering, and operations
  • Experience in Systems Engineering, Capture Management, and Proposal Management
  • Familiarity with Fixed Price contracts and EVMS
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Active US Secret Security Clearance
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or in progress
