Overview

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Director of Program Management to lead their Maritime Sector's Integrated Systems & Encryption, Surface & Subsea Systems business area. This role entails developing and executing the strategic vision while managing various complex maritime programs, ensuring financial accountability, and driving operational results in a dynamic environment focused on national security.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the S3 business area.
  • Drive operational excellence and high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage a team of Program Managers, System Architects, and Engineers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry partners.
  • Lead Business Development activities, including strategic planning and capture efforts.
  • Oversee the execution of development and production programs.
  • Ensure adherence to company processes and organizational policies.
  • Identify growth opportunities and drive new customer engagements.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 15 years of experience in Aerospace & Defense market management.
  • 7+ years in senior management roles.
  • Experience in systems engineering and program management.
  • Expertise in advanced technology and proposal management.
  • Active US Secret Security Clearance preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or working towards it.
