Overview

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Director of Program Management to lead the Integrated Systems & Encryption, Surface & Subsea Systems (S3) business area within the Maritime Sector. This role is crucial in developing and executing strategic initiatives while managing profit-and-loss accountability and delivering financial and operational results. The position involves leading a high-performing team and ensuring exceptional customer engagement and satisfaction in complex maritime program execution.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the S3 business area
  • Oversee profit-and-loss accountability and deliver operational and financial results
  • Manage and expand Autonomous Capabilities and related programs
  • Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing management team
  • Establish organizational direction while adhering to company processes
  • Build relationships with customers and industry partners
  • Lead Business Development activities for strategic planning and forecasting
  • Ensure exceptional execution of development and production programs
  • Drive innovation, supply chain efficiency, and engineering excellence
  • Coordinate approvals of major bids and proposals

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
  • 15 years of experience managing a team in Aerospace & Defense market
  • 7+ years in senior management roles
  • Cross-functional leadership experience in business development, program management, and engineering
  • 5 years of experience with Navy or equivalent acquisition process
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering, Capture Management, and Proposal Management
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Active US Secret Security Clearance
