Overview

The Director of Program Management at L3Harris Technologies is a key leadership position responsible for shaping the strategic vision for the Integrated Systems & Encryption, Surface & Subsea Systems (S3) business area. This role involves full profit-and-loss accountability and focuses on delivering financial and operational results while managing complex maritime programs and enhancing the company's Autonomous Capabilities portfolio.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the S3 business area
  • Manage and expand the Autonomous Capabilities portfolio
  • Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team of Program Managers, System Architects, and Engineers
  • Build strong relationships with customers, industry partners, and internal teams
  • Drive innovation and engineering excellence across various systems integration
  • Ensure adherence to company processes and policies
  • Oversee pipeline development and proposal management
  • Lead Business Development activities and strategic capture
  • Foster a cooperative, high-performance environment

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
  • 15 years of experience in Aerospace & Defense market
  • 7+ years in a senior management role
  • Cross functional leadership experience
  • Experience with Navy or equivalent acquisition process
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office
  • Active US Secret Security Clearance preferred
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification or working towards certification
