Overview

The Director of Program Management at L3Harris Technologies will lead the Maritime Sector's Integrated Systems & Encryption, Surface & Subsea Systems business area. This role encompasses strategic vision development, profit-and-loss accountability, and operational excellence delivery in complex maritime programs, including advanced undersea autonomy solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic vision for the S3 business area
  • Manage profit-and-loss accountability and deliver financial results
  • Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team of professionals
  • Establish organizational direction and ensure adherence to company policies
  • Build relationships with customers and industry partners
  • Lead Business Development activities and capture efforts
  • Oversee pipeline development and proposal management
  • Ensure exceptional execution of development and production programs

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 15 years of experience in Aerospace & Defense market (Maritime preferred)
  • 7+ years in a senior management role
  • Cross-functional leadership experience spanning business development, program management, engineering, and operations
  • Experience with Navy or equivalent acquisition process
  • Experience in Systems Engineering, Capture Management, and Proposal Management
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office
  • Strong communication skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or working towards it
