Overview

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Director of Program Management within its Maritime Sector to lead strategic vision and oversee operations of the Integrated Systems & Encryption, Surface & Subsea Systems (S3) department. The role entails full profit-and-loss accountability, guiding the development and integration of advanced autonomous maritime solutions while fostering strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the S3 business area.
  • Manage and expand the Autonomous Capabilities portfolio.
  • Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team of Program Managers, System Architects, and Engineers.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Drive innovation, supply chain efficiency, and engineering excellence.
  • Lead business development activities and strategic capture efforts.
  • Oversee pipeline development and proposal management.
  • Foster a high-performance environment and ensure accountability across the team.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
  • 15 years of experience in the Aerospace & Defense market (Maritime preferred)
  • 7+ years in senior management roles
  • Cross-functional leadership experience
  • Experience with Navy or equivalent acquisition process
  • Systems Engineering and Capture Management experience
  • Experience with Fixed Price contracts and EVMS
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
  • Active US Secret Security Clearance
