Overview

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Director of Program Management to lead the Maritime Sector, focusing on the Integrated Systems & Encryption, Surface & Subsea Systems business area. The role encompasses strategic vision development, profit-and-loss accountability, and oversight of complex maritime programs, including advanced autonomous capabilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the S3 business area
  • Manage profit-and-loss accountability and deliver financial and operational results
  • Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team of program managers and engineers
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
  • Drive innovation and excellence in systems integration and supply chain efficiency
  • Lead business development activities and strategic planning
  • Ensure adherence to schedules and company policies
  • Oversee pipeline development and proposal management

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
  • 15 years of experience in Aerospace & Defense sector, including 7+ years in senior management
  • Cross-functional leadership experience in business development, program management, and operations
  • Experience with Navy or equivalent acquisition processes
  • Systems Engineering, Capture Management, and Proposal Management expertise
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification or working towards it
  • Active US Secret Security Clearance
