Overview

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Director of Program Management for the Maritime Sector, responsible for developing and executing the strategic vision for the Integrated Systems & Encryption, Surface & Subsea Systems business area. This role involves full profit-and-loss accountability, managing complex maritime programs, and fostering a high-performing team while ensuring adherence to company processes and building strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a vision and strategy for the S3 business area.
  • Manage and achieve operational excellence and high customer satisfaction.
  • Lead business development activities and strategic planning.
  • Establish and maintain close customer relationships, promoting organizational capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure 100% schedule adherence.
  • Oversee pipeline development and proposal management.
  • Foster a cooperative, high-performance environment with clear objectives.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of experience in the Aerospace & Defense market.
  • 7+ years of senior management experience in system integration.
  • Cross functional leadership experience in business development and program management.
  • Experience with Navy or equivalent acquisition processes.
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering and Capture Management.
  • Experience with Fixed Price contracts and EVMS.
  • Strong communication skills and leadership traits.
